Let me begin this by introducing myself.  My name is Ruth E.B. and I am the creator of this site.  I am a full time wife, and mother of two wonderful children.  I am also a part time N.Y.S. cosmetologist and full time college student, finishing up my bachelor's degree, with the hopes of continuing on to obtain my Master's degree in Information and Library Science.  With that being said, my first priority, is my family.  While completing a college project I realized there is a complete lack of information on public play spaces.  So, instead of complaining about the problem, I came here to fix it. The purpose of this site is to provide information on spaces that offer playability within your community.  For the time being I will be offering location information as well as reviews for playgrounds, parks, and other recreational endeavors in Herkimer County and surrounding areas.
